Permaculture Australia
Permaculture Australia is Australia's peak permaculture organization, providing services for
members in Australia and around the world.
Permaculture Australia is a democratically controlled charitable organization located in Australia created to support permaculture and permaculturists.
PA acts as a communication and organizational hub for Australian permaculture and permaculturists as well as undertaking the following main functions:
- Administers Accredited Permaculture Training system of nationally-recognised permaculture qualifications (APT tm).
- Manages the pc-oceania email listserve.
- Publishing permaculture resources and storing permaculture knowledge assets on its web site.
- Manages the Permafund-PIL's Tax Deductable donation and granting initiative,
Permaculture International Ltd is now trading as Permaculture Australia (NSW).
Milkwood Permaculture
Nick Ritar and Kirsten Bradley are developing Milkwood into a Permaculture Demonstration site.
They offer educational courses and system design to urban and rural clients.
Permaculture Sydney East
This site provides information on the activities of this group based in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
They provide useful information, links and fact sheets to down load.
Permaculture Sydney North
Permaculture Sydney North is a group of over 350 people based in Sydney's northern suburbs.
The website provides information on their activities, guest speakers and programs.
There is also a list of useful information sheets, which could be most helpful for the beginner in Permaculture.
These sheets can be downloaded.

An introduction to the people, activities and forum of permies in the St George area of Sydney.

Basically it's PSW's flyer with news. It also has links to their other online presences eg. mailing-list and facebook page.

Permaforest Trust
The Permaforest Trust Centre for Sustainabilility Education offers Austudy Approved Certificate IV and Diploma in Accredited Permaculture
Training (APT) in Byron Bay. Tim Winton, founder of the Permaforest Trust and principal trainer of the APT program is joined by a teaching team
of specialist mentors, permaculture industry professionals and guest facilitators. Major areas of study include Enterprise Development,
Project Management, Community Development and Permaculture Design. There are two intakes per year - March and August.
Courses suit people who wish to deepen their skills in Permaculture and create Sustainable employment for themselves, or set up their own Sustainable Enterprise.
